Hysperian Monaveen Battle Cruiser

The Hysperian Monaveen Cruiser from Star Trek Lower Decks show was a lot of fun to work on. Thomas Marrone the art director at Star Trek Online wanted to see a concept based on the ship from the Tv show but with a more realistic look. He found a door knocker to draw inspiration from and I created the concept that had some filigree and dragon scale surface with a light scattering effect.
The filigree sections where modeled in Zbrush and the rest of the surfaces where made in 3dss Max. the Material uses a template that can be shared with all the Ships on Star Trek Online and it allows players to change the color of the Ship.
